A little about one of our KEYNOTE speaker:
Dalia Mogahed (born 1975) is an American scholar of Egyptian origin. She is the Director of Research at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU) in Washington, D.C. She is also President and CEO of Mogahed Consulting, a Washington, D.C.-based executive coaching and consulting firm specializing in Muslim societies and the Middle East. Mogahed is former Executive Director of the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies, a non-partisan research center that provided data and analysis to reflect the views of Muslims all over the world. She was selected as an advisor by U.S. President Barack Obama on the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
A little about our Keynote speaker:
Fahad Tasleem is the founder of DC Seminary, an institute focused on spiritually empowering working professionals, graduates & college students. He also serves as the Head of US Outreach for iERA (the Islamic Education & Research Academy).
His diverse study & research interests include Qur’anic Studies, Dawah, Islamic & Comparative Theology, Behavioral Economics, Economic History, and Arabic Linguistics. Fahad holds a bachelors in Economics from Michigan State University and a Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.
Fahad studied Arabic at Georgetown University and is currently studying in the graduate program in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Texas at Austin with a focus on Islamic Theology.
